先日YouTube Space Tokyoでのイベントに出した作品です。YouTubeをテーマに描き下ろしました。
500mm×652mm（P15）のキャンバスで近年の私にとっては大きなサイズ。
学生みたいな気分で楽しく描かせていただきました。
タイトルは当初”The World is yours!”を予定していたのですが、
“The World is your oyster!（世界はあなたの思いのまま）”という言葉を知り、牡蠣を描いてみたくなりました。
元々はシェイクスピアの戯曲から生まれた言葉だとか。
面白いですね。

The title “THE WORLD IS YOUR OYSTER!” is a proverb, and it seems derived from the plays of Shakespeare. it’s interesting.
