台湾個展のお知らせ 6/1～7/31

6月1日（木）から7月31日（月）の2か月間、台湾の高雄で個展を行います。

昨年、友人と「台湾行きたいね～」と言っていたその日か翌日だったか
台湾で展示をやりませんか？とお誘い頂き、これは何かの縁と思いお引き受けしました。

非営利の図書館+ギャラリーとのことで、スペース自体は大きくはありませんが
初めての海外個展にはちょうど良い規模だなと思っています。

スタッフの方も気さくに対応してくださるので、あまり気負わずに出来そうです。

私は台湾茶が好きで過去には随分な入れ込みようでしたが
台湾を訪れるチャンスはなかなか無く、今回が初めての訪問です。

台湾は近年ボローニャの入選者も多く、イラストレーションへの関心も高いのではと思っています。

内容は大阪個展のダイジェストのような感じを考えてましたが
いざ終わってみると反省点もぞくぞく出てきて、少し軌道修正をすべく
時間が許せば新作を持って行きたいところです。

とても楽しみにしています。皆さん、高雄でお会いしましょう！

I will hold my solo exhibition in Kaohsiung, Taiwan from 1st June to 31 July.

One day last year, my friend and I talked about how we wanted to go to Taiwan.

At almost the same time, I received an offer to hold this exhibition. So I made a decision.

This non-profit experimental library + art gallery is not large but it is just the space for me.
And the staff is very friendly so I won’t be nervous.

I have loved Taiwanese tea for many years, so I wanted to visit to Taiwan.
But I haven’t had the chance to go there.

 

In recent years, there are a lot of selected illustrators from Taiwan in the Bologna Illustrators Exhibition.

I think that Taiwanese people are interested in illustrations.

At first, I thought the next exhibit will be the same as the last Osaka exhibition, but if possible I’d like to add new works.

I look forward to holding the exhibition. Let’s meet up in Kaohsiung!
